### Overview
Convert any Slack message into an Asana task by adding a specific emoji reaction, automatically capturing the message content, channel context, and author as task details.

### Prerequisites
- Slack workspace (any paid plan, or Free with limited integrations)
- Asana account (Basic or above)
- Zapier account (Free plan works for this single-step automation)
- Permission to add apps to your Slack workspace

### Setup Steps

**Step 1: Choose your trigger emoji**
Pick a distinctive emoji that your team will use to flag messages as tasks. We recommend using a custom emoji like :asana: or a less common standard emoji like :clipboard:. Avoid common emojis like :thumbsup: to prevent accidental task creation.

**Step 2: Create a new Zap in Zapier**
Log in to Zapier and click "Create Zap". Name it "Slack Reaction to Asana Task".

**Step 3: Configure the Slack trigger**
- App: Slack
- Trigger event: "New Reaction Added"
- Account: Connect your Slack workspace
